Estimator
Before laborers or equipment operators set foot on a jobsite, someone must first bid and win the opportunity to do the job. Cue the estimator. They figure out how to build the project, calculate quantities and timelines, and estimate how much it will all cost. They look for that sweet spot between being profitable, yet competitive. Too low and they jeopardize the project from the start. Too high, the company won’t win any work.
