Ray Rodriguez is the Division Vice President of HR and Risk Management, for C. W. Matthews Contracting Company the largest Heavy Highway construction company based in Georgia. Ray leads a team of 15 professionals responsible for Human Resource, Payroll, Employee Benefits, Risk Management and Safety. Ray’s team supports 1,500 employees located on 200 jobsites throughout Georgia, and in 27 asphalt production facilities. Ray joined C. W. Matthews Contracting in May of 1995 and has seen the company more than double in size over the last 28 years. Ray believes in always thinking outside of the box and in the importance of employee development.
Ray holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and an MBA from Kennesaw State University. Ray also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification and currently serves as a board member for Must Ministries and Construction Ready.
Ray is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and he currently resides in Marietta, Georgia with his wife Susan, and their son Wesley and daughter Caroline.
