Carol Groom

Carol was a storehouse of construction knowledge, having been in the industry in 1994. She loved construction—especially the chance to see things transform from nothing into something. 

Her experience in construction administration and operations support were a big blessing to her team at RAWSO, as was her friendly and kind nature. She went out of her way to welcome the new people who came on board and was a part of helping RAWSO build a great culture. 

Carol’s favorite part of her job was more poignant. She started in construction back in the day when people were often seen as expendable. But more recently, she loved the fact that “We were allowed to talk about everything openly. Everybody listened to suggestions. We tried to live by our values.” She loved working for RAWSO so much, she hoped to retire from the company.
