I married into a second-generation family-run excavating business in Connecticut called LaFata & Son Inc. that was established in the 70s. ⁣

I left my job as a teacher to become the bookkeeper, and as the company grew, so did we. ⁣
⁣
We opened a second company that I became president of. @adequipment sells the excavator attachments that we use daily in our excavating division. ⁣
⁣
We're raising four kids in the construction industry, and they know for sure how invaluable the trades are. ⁣
⁣
A&D Equipment proudly supports women in construction as we are a woman-owned and operated business. ⁣

I love the empowerment and camaraderie of being in this industry as a woman! ⁣

As a team, we take my husband's excavation expertise and form relationships with contractors to help them build their businesses.
